The SALTO Inclusion Resource Centre (www.salto-youth.net/inclusion/) developed some practical publications for youth workers wishing to set up (international) projects with socially excluded target groups - young people with fewer opportunities.
These educational publications contain many practical tips & tricks to make inclusion projects better and easier. The SALTO Inclusion for ALL booklets can be downloaded or ordered free of charge via http://www.salto-youth.net/InclusionPublications/ ...
The following Inclusion for ALL publications are available: - "GOING INTERNATIONAL" is the educational booklet for inclusion youth workers who are tempted to take young people with fewer opportunities (socio-economically disadvantage) abroad for the first time; - "USE YOUR HEAD TO MOVE AHEAD" is an inspirational booklet on how to adapt (short term) EVS to the life-world of young people with fewer opportunities; - "FIT FOR LIFE" is a practical manual which helps youth workers explore how sports can be used as an educational method for the work with young people with fewer opportunities; - "NO BARRIERS, NO BORDERS" is an extensive guide book for setting up international projects with young people with and without a disability, in a fun and inclusive atmosphere; - "OVER THE RAINBOW" is an educational publication about setting up international projects with young lesbians, gay guys and bisexual youth. A booklet based on SALTO Inclusion & Diversity Modules is being worked on.
